These are the oncoMASTER Terms of Use.

Agreement on oncoMASTER Inc. Membership Terms and Conditions (Required)

Welcome to oncoMASTER.

Thank you registering up as a member of oncoMASTER Inc. and applying for the service (hereinafter referred to the "Service"). These terms and conditions describe the relationship between oncoMASTER Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “our company”), which provides services, and members who will be using the provided service (hereinafter referred to as “members”). They also provide useful information to members when using the service. When you sign up as a member of our service, you confirm or agree to these Terms and Conditions and related operating policies, so please take a moment to read them carefully.

oncoMASTER provides most up-to-date latest information cancer medicine for cancer medicine through platform, available platform to both members and non-members. In addition, if you become a member of our company, you will be eligible to receive the "oncoMASTER personalized cancer patient knowledge information service" (hereinafter referred to as the "oncoMASTER Service") for free. The oncoMASTER service provides an "Easy-to-understand report" that includes clinical information and treatment options related to the patient's genomic mutation. Furthermore, we will continue to offer updates on new drug approvals and details about clinical trials available for member participation through the oncoMASTER service, which will be beneficial for our members.

Membership registration is completed through prescribed procedures.

”oncoMASTER member" refers to an individual person who has agreed to these terms and conditions and has been issued 'ID ‘ID and password'. Members can apply for membership after reading and agreeing to these terms and conditions, and the company will complete the membership registration process by approving the application. Anyone who wishes to become a member and use the service must provide the personal information requested by us. If the company approves an individual's membership application, the applicant will be notified of their member ID and any other necessary information as determined by the company.

 

There are some precautions regarding membership registration and service use.

When registering as a member, you must not provide false personal information such as name, date of birth, email address, or mobile phone number. When registering as a member on the website, please manage your member information so that it is always accurate and up-to-date.

The ID entered when signing up cannot be changed, and only one ID is issued to each person. Additionally, you must not transfer or rent your ID and password to others or allow others to use them. We will not accept your application for membership if you use another person's name, do not apply under your real name, or provide false information on the membership application.

In addition, if the applicant has had his or her membership revoked for reasons such as past violations of the terms and conditions, applies for use of the service for the purpose of engaging in an act prohibited by relevant laws or disrupting public morals, or applies for use of the service for the purpose of pursuing profit. If we determine that approval for membership is inappropriate, we may refuse approval for membership.

Since the report is analyzed in a personalized manner after going through a real name verification process using the member's information, which is a patient currently diagnosed with cancer and undergoing treatment, the member's information must belong only to the member.

The contents of the report, which is a service provided to members, cannot replace a medical diagnosis. The information provided through the service is in no way intended to replace medical diagnosis, treatment, or treatment. Please consult with your physician for all medical diagnosis and treatment decisions. Under no circumstances should medical diagnosis be disregarded due to information provided in the service.

If use of the service is unavoidably restricted, reasonable procedures will be followed.

If a member does not comply with the relevant laws, operating policies, or terms and conditions, the company may check the member's related actions and, depending on the confirmation results, request caution in using the service or suspend part or all, temporary or permanent use of the service. etc. may restrict its use. If it is no longer possible to expect full maintenance of the service use agreement despite restrictions on use, the service use agreement with the member may be terminated. In cases where it is unavoidable to restrict a member's use of the service , we will follow the above principle of gradually restricting the use of the service, except in cases where it is a clear violation of the law or requires the prevention of urgent danger or damage.

We value and protect our members' personal information.
 For the smooth provision of services, we collect and use personal information only within the purpose and scope agreed upon by the members and safely manage it in accordance with the laws and regulations related to the protection of personal information. Efforts and other details to safely process relevant personal information for users and members can be found in the Personal Information Processing Policy. The company shall not be responsible for the leakage of personal information without intention or negligence of the company, such as the occurrence of member information due to the member's failure to manage the account password, etc.


Members can leave at any time.
 Members may withdraw from the membership at any time, and in this case, we will handle it without delay as prescribed by relevant laws and regulations. If you want to withdraw from the membership, you can apply for it through the website. You can check whether your membership has been withdrawn by trying to log in afterwards. After withdrawing from the membership, all personal information of members included in the website and documents will be destroyed, except when the information of the members can be retained in accordance with the relevant laws and personal information processing policies. However, even if you withdraw, the information of members previously collected may be attributed to the company and utilized after de-identification processing, and all personal information including the personal identification information of members will be destroyed, except when the information of the members can be retained in accordance with the relevant laws and personal information processing policies.

 

We will definitely let you know if there is a service interruption or change.
 We are obligated to provide a stable service and are committed to doing our best to do so, but we may suspend all or part of the service due to unavoidable reasons. On the other hand, if there is a significant need to operate or improve the service, all or part of the service may be modified, modified, or terminated. The service is free of charge, so if all or part of the service is to be modified, modified, or terminated, there will be no additional compensation unless otherwise specified in the relevant laws and regulations. In the event of a service interruption or change, we will notify you in advance of a considerable period of time if it is predictable, and if it is unpredictable, we will explain and guide you in detail without delay.

 

We will guide you through the main points and listen to your valuable opinions.
 We will strive to provide you with timely and well-guided information on key matters necessary to use the service. In case we notify our members, we will send individual e-mail, website notice, or other appropriate electronic means. However, if notification to all members is required, we will post the relevant information through website notification for more than 7 days.
 We will listen to our members' valuable comments. They can communicate their opinions or improvements to you at any time through contact@oncomaster.co.kr, and to the best of their ability, they will be able to communicate their processing and results to the best of their ability.

Terms and conditions and operational policies will be revised after prior notice.
 We may revise our terms and conditions and operational policies from time to time, but we will revise them to the extent that they do not violate the relevant laws and regulations, and we will notify the service in advance of the reason for the revision and the date of its application. In addition, in case of any significant changes in terms and conditions that may be disadvantageous to you, we will notify you within the service at least 30 days in advance and individually through a separate electronic means (e-mail, homepage, etc.). We await comments on the changes in our terms and conditions from the date they are posted to the date they take effect. If no member's comments are received after the above period, it will be considered that the member agrees to use the service under the changed terms and conditions. If the member does not agree to the changed terms and conditions, it may no longer be possible to provide the service subject to the changed terms and conditions.

 We shall not be responsible for providing services if we are unable to provide services due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure, and shall not be responsible for the members if the members' intentional or negligent disability of service use, the use of services provided free of charge, or other reasons attributable to the company are not recognized. In addition, the Company shall not be responsible for any damage caused by the member's failure to obtain the expected results from the use of the services or using the data obtained through the services.

 
 For the service, these terms and conditions apply by default and are based on the original Korean language. Korean laws and regulations apply to the relationship between the members and the Company related to these terms and conditions or services. And in the event of a dispute between the members and the Company in connection with these terms and conditions or services, the handling of the dispute shall follow the procedures set out in the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea.

2. Matters concerning third-party provision

We provide personal information collected to third parties only to the extent permitted by law. In addition, the health information collected by members is processed under a pseudonym (deletion of some and replacement of all of the personal information so that a specific individual cannot be identified without additional information) and is stored in our database (DB) to be attributed, and the original information is immediately discarded after completion of service and de-identification processing.  

 
3. Personal information will be discarded according to relevant laws and regulations after the retention period has elapsed.
 We destroy personal information without delay when personal information becomes unnecessary, such as the expiration of the holding period of personal information and the achievement of the purpose of processing. If personal information needs to be preserved in accordance with other laws and regulations despite the expiration of the period of personal information agreed upon by the member or the achievement of the purpose of processing, the personal information shall be transferred to a separate database (DB) or preserved in a different storage place.
We select the personal information that caused the reason for destruction and destroy the personal information with the approval of our personal information protection manager. Personal information recorded and stored in the form of electronic files is destroyed so that records cannot be reproduced, and personal information recorded and stored in paper documents is destroyed by grinding with a shredder.
